"My mother Helen was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2001. She was 90 years young when she lost her battle with the disease. The Cheering for Charity Foundation was founded and dedicated in her honor. Having personally experienced the devastating effects of Alzheimer's, it is my passion and dream to dedicate my time and efforts to this cause."
Cheering for Charity is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization.

The Cheering Voices helps to assure that patients with cognitive disorders can continue to cherish musical experiences while enjoying an enhanced quality of life. Live musicians and facilitators help engage nursing home residents affected by Dementia, Alzheimer’s and other memory disorders with their caregivers and family members.
Give a gift from the heart and watch someone's eyes light up. The Cheering Closet is stocked from donations of new personal items and gifts which are delivered to residents in nursing homes. The program provides a way to make seniors feel like they matter and distributes everyday items to those in need.
