Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Training

Caring for someone with dementia poses many challenges for professional caregivers. Dementia caregiving is a world where the “normal” rules don’t apply and we all need guidance learning to support, motivate, and keep people with dementia safe. Providing specialist dementia training for caregivers makes a huge difference in many ways.

This Seminar:

  • Aims to help caregivers understand how dementia affects each person as they progress through the disease stages

  • Identifies the intense challenges families and those close to them must adapt to

  • Includes repetitive reinforcement of proper techniques to use while interacting with dementia patients

Seminar Details:
This 8 hour seminar can be held at your facility depending on space availability or an alternative location can be discussed.

8:30am - 5:00pm Seminar (30 minute lunch break on your own)

This is the required Course for those pursuing CDP® certification and who qualify through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Additional fees apply. All cancellations must be received by email no later than two weeks prior to seminar (there is a $75 cancellation fee.) If the cancellation is after this date no refund will be given.
